Marine Sapphire 42 Bar System

Gaseous Clean Agent Fire Suppression System

Sapphire Systems are designed to protect valuable assets while minimizing downtime, cleanup, and environmental impact after discharge. The System utilizes FK-5-1-12 agent, which has zero ozone depletion potential, an atmospheric lifetime of just five days, and a global warming potential of 1. Rapid suppression of a fire is acheived through heat absorption. The system is especially suited to environments with limit space requirements, where an electrically non-conductive medium is required, where electronic systems cannot be shut down in an emergency, where cleanup of other agents poses a problem, and in normally occupied areas that demand a non-toxic agent. Marine Sapphire 42 Bar system holds MED, MER, LLOYDS, DNV, BV, RINA and ABS approvals.

  • Fast suppression with minimal environmental impact
  • Certified for global marine requirements
