Sapphire COMPACT is a Direct Low Pressure Fixed Fire Suppression System that has been specfically designed to protect small electrical enclosures. As a self-contained system, protects enclosures that use either natural ventilation or forced airflow. The System utilizes FK-5-1-12 agent, which has zero ozone depletion potential, an atmospheric lifetime of just five days, and a global warming potential of 1. Rapid suppression of a fire is acheived through heat absorption. The system is especially suited to environments where an electrically non-conductive medium is required, where electronic systems cannot be shut down in an emergency and where cleanup of other agents poses a problem. The system is designed in accordance with Loss Prevention Standard, LPS 1666: Requirements and test procedures for the LPCB approval of direct low pressure (DLP) application fixed fire suppression systems.
