Sapphire PLUS 70 Bar System
Gaseous Clean Agent Fire Suppression System
Sapphire PLUS sytems are designed to protect valuable assets while minimizing downtime, cleanup, and environmental impact after discharge. The System utilizes FK-5-1-12 agent, which has zero ozone depletion potential, an atmospheric lifetime of just five days, and a global warming potential of 1. Rapid suppression of a fire is acheived through heat absorption. Sapphire PLUS utilizes the time-proven technology of traditional Sapphire systems, while providing additional design benefits with the increased pressure. Sapphire PLUS systems help reduce the footprint, installation cost and service time by offering higher fill densities to reduce the number of containers. The increased pressure also permits the containers to be located much further from the protected space and increases the ability to introduce selector valves to protect multiple hazards from a single container bank. Sapphire PLUS 70 Bar systems are UL Listed, FM Approved and LPCB Redbook Listed and hold CE Component and PESO Component Approvals.
- Fewer containers lower installation costs
- Protect multiple hazards from a single container bank
- 70 bar technology reduces system footprint

Benefits
The Sapphire Suppression System utilizes FK-5-1-12 agent, which has a zero ozone depletion potential, an atmospheric lifetime of just five days, and a global warming potential of one.
70 bar reduces the footprint, installation cost and service time by offering higher fill densities to reduce the number of containers.
Increased pressure also permits the containers to be located much further from the protected space and increases the ability to introduce selector valves to protect multiple hazards from a single container bank.
Chemical Agents are known to rapidly suppress fire primarily though heat absorption
